subhan'Allah it's so true. there is something about the old world, traditions that are more solid, that even after all these years we're able to breathe life from them and see life in them. and about the modernities, they will always be imitations, objects of desire. people will always want to achieve more than them and excel and exceed and yet somehow it's only an aspiration and it can't be fulfilled. we're enriched by traditions and left empty with the modernities.
i think these two lines speak volumes and you've written them in such a concise and poetic way masha'Allah. Im not sure if you meant what i took from it.. but i love it.
just like you. I admire the way you don't waste words, and how you choose them so carefully masha'Allah!
